No charges filed against teen driver for fatal crash

MONITEAU COUNTY, MO. -- No charges have been filed against a teen driver after his passenger died because of a Thursday car crash.

Highway Patrol said they are waiting for an accident reconstructionist to determine if Bryce Pruitt, 19, was speeding when he lost control of the car and crashed Thursday night.

His passenger, Waylon Martensen, 19, was taken to University Hospital, where he died Friday.

Highway Patrol said that Pruitt's blood alcohol level was zero.
