Four arrested in Maries County meth bust

MARIES COUNTY, MO. -- Four people are facing drug-related charges after a narcotics investigation in Maries County late Friday evening.
The Maries County Sheriff's Office and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group conducted the investigation at 12036 Highway V in Vienna.
Investigators found numerous items related to the manufacture of methamphetamines along with suspcted methamphetamines.
Charges have been filed against 46-year-old George Puckett and 40-year-old Matthew Romine, both of Dixon, for attempt to manufactrure a controlled substance.
Both are being held in Maries County Jail on $100,000 bond.
Jessica Salvo, 23, has been charged out of Phelps County with possession of a chemical with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance. She is in Maries County Jail on $25,000 bond.
The Sheriff's office expects charges to be filed against another female later this week.
