A Pulaski County man is dead after an apparent drug overdose.

Early Thursday morning, the Sheriff's Department was called to investigate a death at a residence off Highway NN in Laquey.

Officers said they found the body of a 27-year-old man in a small mobile trailer parked behind the landowner's house.

The coroner said the death was caused by a drug overdose, but an autopsy will be performed for an official cause of death.

No foul play is suspected. The man's name has not been released.
