JEFFERSON CITY -- Three teens were sent to the hospital after their SUV crashed in Jefferson City.

At about 5 p.m. Monday, 16-year-old Paige Ragar was driving westbound on Highway 54 near the Madison Street overpass with three 15-year-old passengers.

Police said Ragar lost control of her Explorer Sport on the wet pavement.

Ragar's SUV hit the concrete center barrier, rolled over and crossed back over both lanes.

The vehicle eventually came to a rest in the median.

Ragar and one of her passengers were taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.

Another passenger was taken to Capitol Region Medical Center.

All of the teens in the SUV were wearing their seatbelts.
