COLUMBIA -- Two men are facing drug-related charges after their arrest in Columbia early Sunday morning.

Columbia Police said they spotted a black Chevrolet truck that was known for drug activity stopped at 1501 Vandiver Drive around 2 a.m.

Police said Anthony Warren and Creston Johnson got out of the vehicle and took off running. They were apprehended after a short foot chase.

Police found two separate baggies of marijuana on the ground where the two had been standing. They also found a package of cocaine and five individual foil packages containing heroin.

Warren and Johnson were arrested for distribution/delivery/manufacture/production of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and resisting or interfering with an arrest.
