COLUMBIA-- Columbia police are looking for two men in connection with a home invasion robbery Saturday night.

Officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of South Phoenix Road a little before 9 p.m. A male victim told police two unknown men knocked on his door and forced their way into the home when the victim opened it.

The two men were armed with handguns and a crow bar. They struck a dog with the crow bar and tied up the victim.

The men ransacked the home and demanded drugs and money.

The victim was able to free himself and run from the home. As the victim was fleeing, one of the men fired one round at him. The shot missed the victim.

The robbers fled the scene on foot with two large bags full of stolen property.

They are both described as being black males, 5'10", around 200 pounds and last seen wearing stocking caps and black clothing.

The investigation is ongoing.
