Jefferson City public access channel holds film festival

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The public access channel in Jefferson City is holding its second annual film festival.

JCTV is inviting submissions of amateur film, animation or any other kind of independently produced video. The deadline is Oct. 30, with all of the entries to be shown later on JCTV.

Awards are also on the line.

The Jefferson City News Tribune reported that a panel of five judges will review the entries. The first-, second- and third-place winners will be announced on Nov. 6.
