JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- After 30 years, the Capital 4 movie theater in the Capital Mall will be close after its last two shows on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009.
However, the Capital 4 will merge with the Capital 8 movie theater. The Capital 4 leases its space from the Capital Mall. That lease is set to expire.
Capital 8 Movie Theater is planning on upgrading into a digital complex and will add a 3-D screen within the next four to six months.
No one will be losing their job with the merging of the two theaters.
