One woman's car had bullet holes and was seized as evidence

Columbia, Mo. - Shots were fired early Sunday morning in the Waffle House and Travel Lodge parking lots.

Police responded to 904 Range Line Street at 1:51 a.m.

Once there they discovered approximately three vehicles were in the Waffle House parking lot when the shots were fired, from two different weapons.

Some of the casings were found on the Waffle House parking lot, while others were located on the Travel Lodge Motel parking lot.

The vehicles were last seen going westbound on Vandiver Drive.

A short time later, officers received a call from a woman whose vehicle had bullet holes, as it had been in Waffle House parking lot. Her vehicle was seized for evidence.

There are no reports of any injuries associated with this incident and the investigation is ongoing.
