How do you get your head around learning or improving the game of golf?
Every golfer, even the elite, were at some point in time beginners! Regardless of your current stage of development, you can and will improve with the right outlook and instruction. The most important factor in determining your likelihood of continual improvement is your ATTITUDE TO LEARNING GOLF!
Empower yourself with positive beliefs about your ability to learn golf. As a beginner, you need to believe that golf is both a fun and easy game to learn. And it is an EASY GAME … if you keep things simple and back your belief to learn the game.
As a golfing student, seek out the guidance of coaches with empowering beliefs about your potential to learn and improve. Not doing this would be like having surgery from a doctor who didn't think the operation would be successful.
Raise your standards for golf instruction; make a decision for yourself that you will only seek out instruction from those coaches who are qualified, credible and resourced with empowering beliefs about your ability to improve. Stay positive and focus on what you need to do. Visualize success. The only way to have a good golf game is to have a good mental game. Learn to refocus negative thoughts into positive ones … and most of all, be a good sport regardless of what the outcome.
