Business Type: Mid-America Wireless has been in the communication business since 1984 and is one of the first original agents for Southwestern Bell Mobile. Mid-America began providing sales, installation and service to the St. Louis Market. In 1990, Mid-America Mobile Systems opened the first wireless store in Jefferson City. Later that same year, Gary Wilbers went to work for Mid-America as a sales consultant.
In November of 1991, Gary was contacted to see if he would be interested in purchasing the Jefferson City dealership. In 1991, Gary Wilbers and his partner, Greg Rackers, began operating Mid-America Mobile Systems. Mr. Wilbers would later purchase rights to the entire company from his partner and by the year 2000, Mid-America Mobile Systems had grown to 4 locations throughout Central Missouri and changed their name to Mid-America Wireless.
Today, Mid-America Wireless has 15 locations throughout Missouri with over 120 team members and is an authorized retailer of AT&T Wireless and DSL, Dish Network, DirecTV and WildBlue Satellite Internet services. As the communication industry has grown and changed, Mid-America Wireless has always remained focused on improving the lives of its guest through their products and services. We take pride in being a local owned and community involved company that is there for our guest before and after the sale and we feel this is what sets us apart from other businesses that offer similar products. Service contracts for Wireless Phones and Satellite Equipment may be returned or exchanged within 3 days from the time of purchase. Phone Accessories can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from the date of purchase. Accessories must be returned in new and resellable condition. All returns must be accompanied with the original sales receipt. Labor, Service, and Delivery charges are not refundable. All refunds will be paid in the form of a refund check. Refund checks will be mailed within 14 days from date of refund transaction. Question What brands of phones do you carry?
