Liquefied Petroleum Gas (also known as LPG) is turned into a gas inside a tank or a cylinder. In its natural form, propane is completely colorless and odorless. To make it possible to detect propane in the event of a leak or spill, a chemical compound is deliberately added to give it a distinctive smell.
