LaSienne opened July 1, 1985 with the vision of providing extra valued service and extraordinary customer experience to its guests.
During this time LaSienne has surrounded themselves with some of the most talented stylists in the industry. These professionals have excelled in many aspects of their field.
Our Staff
Today’s LaSienne staff is comprised of some of the best hair designers, colorists, estheticians, make-up artists, and nail technicians in the Mid-Missouri area. Each team member strives to increase their knowledge and skills through continuing education. This combined with the individual’s own unique talent and insight ensures that the client gets only the latest and the best. Just as hair trends and styles are ever-changing and evolving, so is the industry behind them. LaSienne has observed and eagerly embraced the innovations that bring about such changes. Where focus was once solely on hair, it now includes beauty, wellness, and fashion.
Our Place
In 1995, LaSienne went through a dramatic make-over itself. It was at this time that LaSienne partnered with Aveda to become an Aveda Concept Salon. Aveda is a very environmentally and socially responsible company. We promote business, social and ecological practices that foster a healthier lifestyle and environment.
Our Partners
Close to this same time LaSienne moved from 114 E. High Street to 110 Bolivar. Their 'new' home is about 140 years old. It was saved from demolition by the Cole County Historical Society, and was subsequently moved from the Mill Bottom area to its present location. It has been lovingly restored according to the specifications of the Historical Society.
So 1995 marked more than a simple change of address. Thanks in part to our relationship with Aveda, it was also a time of renewed attitudes and priorities. Come and experience the LaSienne difference for yourself.

Elemental Nature Facial (60 Minutes) $60
Personalized facial begins with a sensory journey to customize each treatment for your particular skin care needs, includes refinement, face and neck pressure point massage, and treatment mask.
Oxygen Treatment (60 Minutes) $70
An excellent treatment for congested skin. The ultimate skin therapy created to suppress oxidative energy to skin cells, such as environmental toxins, solar radiation, diet, medication, and great for smokers.
Deep Cleansing Extraction Facial (60 Minutes) $65

Phyto Pumpkin Enzyme Peel (30 Minutes) $30
This fruit and enzyme peel is a powerful exfoliation accelerator, a powerful anti-oxidant and a mild retinoic acid substitute. As a natural repair therapy it has beta-carotene and absorbic acid as topicals to combat oxidative, free radical damage. (For best results a series of six is recommended.)
Glycolic Peel Treatment (30 Minutes) $30
A highly concentrated glycolic acid formulation that dramatically accelerates the results achieved by using Bio-Glycolic home care products. All clients are required to be on glycolic home care products two weeks prior to starting a resurfacing series. (Series of 6 treatments are recommended for best results.)
