(AP) -- DEXTER, Mo. (AP) -- An automotive supply company has announced plans to lay off about 150 people from a plant in southeast Missouri.

The Dexter Daily Statesman reports that about 150 employees are included in the lay off at Faurecia Emissions Control Technologies plant in Dexter.

Company spokeswoman Stacie Tong says many of the employees in the layoff have already left. She says the layoffs are because the company is reorganizing some of its production.

Faurecia North America, based in France, manufactures seats, vehicle interiors, front ends and exhaust systems in several countries.

The company announced last year it was cutting the Dexter staff to 500 from what was then around 1,000.
