HOWARD COUNTY -- A man was taken by Staff for Life in serious condition Sunday night after a crash involving a car and an ATV in Howard County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said 20-year-old Sidney Wallace was trying to jump a road ditch on Missouri 5, a 1/2 mile north of Rt J.

That’s when they say he failed to yield and hit the side of 52-year-old Donctella Williams' Pontiac.

Wallace was taken to University Hospital for his injuries.
