Eight .9mm casings were eventually recovered and eight rounds were fired, the sheriff said. It has not been confirmed if the victim was wounded by a .9mm projectile. He turned over a nine millimeter handgun to authorities.
Prosecutors still haven’t decided if they are going to press charges against the neighbor. The sheriff said the investigation is ongoing and the shooter is being cooperative with police questioning.
