COLUMBIA -- The Columbia City Council will hold a hearing regarding Columbia's water supply tonight.

The council will talk about the possibility of drilling a new well in the McBaine Bottoms.

The environment and energy commission will present information about the effects of wetlands on water quality in Columbia.

Some have called into question the quality of the water coming from that area.
