When not at KRCG, can be found...When am I not at KRCG? -- In 2012, Kermit celebrated his 30th anniversary at KRCG. Few other reporters have his depth of experience in covering political and military affairs in this area.
During his tenure with KRCG, Kermit has covered some of the biggest news stories in the mid-Missouri area, everything from the Great Flood of 1993 to the death of Gov. Mel Carnahan in an airplane crash in October 2000. As the primary state government reporter for KRCG News, he has covered the administrations of eight Missouri governors. He has traveled to Central America twice to observe the MO National Guard in training and at work rebuilding roads and bridges in hurricane-devastated regions of Honduras. And he has cruised aboard the USS Harry S. Truman to report on the contributions made by Missourians to the U.S. Navy's nuclear aircraft carrier named for the Show-Me State's favorite son.
